Gail Ferry
Gail Ferry started at Temple University, Ambler in the fall of 2004 in the Landscape Architecture program. Over the years she has worked on various proposed residential, urban, park and restoration designs. She has also designed green roofs and sustainable, native plant gardens. Earlier in her college career, she helped create a publication for the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society and the Philadelphia Water Department, illustrating creative and environmentally sound solutions to the increasing problem of vacant lots throughout the city of Philadelphia. Most recently, she completed an in depth senior project which included proposed restoration and planting designs to help enrich and restore Germantown’s historic Awbury Arboretum to a beautiful estate where visitors can gain ideas for their own properties and learn about the diversity of Pennsylvania’s native plants. Working as a sales consultant at Garden Accents for over four years, Gail is learning the intricacies of landscape ornaments and their various applications throughout the garden. In addition, Gail travels to client’s homes for on site consultations which both enrich and further her experience in the field. Graduating Magna Cum Laude, Gail proudly obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture in December 2008 and looks forward to the continued opportunity to apply her natural abilities and talents to her rich and rewarding career.
